About us
The café Achara and Martin built for everyone who loves coffee and bikes.
Hello from Achara
After graduating in tourism studies in Bangkok in 2003, I went to Switzerland to learn German, and there I met my husband, Martin. We have been a couple since 2004 and lived in Switzerland, where for five years I looked after merchandising and shop sales at Martin’s event and sports agency in Zurich.
Today I manage the Guesthouse Pattaya-City and The Bikers Café Thailand, and both have an excellent reputation.
Martin and I are both keen bikers. He rides a Triumph Rocket 3 (2020) and a Honda CB 1100 EX, and I am on the road on a Triumph Bobber 1200.
I look forward to getting to know all our guests, and together with my great team I will do my best to make you feel at home.
Welcome to The Bikers Café Thailand!

We opened on 15 May 2019. In May 2024 we celebrated our fifth anniversary on three evenings, with the restaurant sold out each night. The whole story, from the groundbreaking to 2024, is in our anniversary booklet: read it here (PDF), or pick up a free copy at the café.

The house, the garden and the collection
The café house sits under an orange steel roof with black steel windows, brick walls and a polished concrete floor. Inside are the bikes in the exhibition, from a 1954 BSA B31 and a 1953 Triumph T110 to a Triumph Rocket 3, with racing leathers, tin signs and murals on the walls. Outside, the garden runs down to the klong, with sculptures made from bike parts, a giant helmet, and orange motorcycles along the roof.
